About us at JnF Specialties:

Frank is a quality management system expert with over 55 years of practical experience. Frank’s career began in 1969 as a Lead Technician for Edcliff Instruments (Monrovia, CA), where he was inspired to become a quality expert. After many years in the trenches with intensely direct Customers, he served as the Responsible Quality Authority (RQA) for many mission-critical projects, including the Gravity Probe B (Einstein Mission) under a NASA contract at Eagle-Picher Technologies. Since 1969, Frank has walked the walk and talked the talk, and since 2001, Frank has helped businesses confidently achieve compliance with the same ‘Zero Defects’ rigor required for products classified as single-point failure components.

Frank’s methodology is rooted in the rigorous standards of production work activities in dozens of industries that require intensely focused support.

Frank’s legacy was forged in the 80’s and cemented in the high-stakes ‘post-Columbia’ era of 2003. When NASA mandated a top-to-bottom quality scrub of the Gravity Probe B mission, Frank didn’t just survive a 36-finding SAC audit – he used it as a catalyst to bridge legacy specs into the modern era.

As the Responsible Quality Authority, Frank Elias wrote, revised, reviewed, maintained, and signed-off on the technical specifications, policies, procedures, travelers, drawings, requisitions, purchase orders, and work instructions for mission-critical products, such as for Gravity Probe B NASA-LMMS-Stanford (Contract NAS-8-39225), Hughes El Segundo, ESA, and KARI South Korea. This ‘Zero Defects’ discipline is the foundation of every practical solution in the JnF Library, honed through years of hands-on production inspection, and corresponding Customer buy-offs at Eagle-Picher Technologies.
